RC Mukono - Currently
According to World Health Organization (WHO), approximately 70,000 women die annually from postpartum hemorrhage. Over 3 million children under the age of five die each year in developing countries. Severe malaria and malnutrition deplete blood counts quickly, and the lack of readily available, safe blood is a leading indirect factor in many of these pediatric fatalities
In Uganda, the Uganda Blood Transfusion Service (UBTS) frequently struggles with donation rates falling below the WHO recommended threshold of collecting blood equivalent to 1% of the population, leading to an ongoing crisis where local shortages threaten the lives of mothers and children. Therefore, please come join us on 25th July 2026 at Mukono Church of Uganda to donate blood
